Is the institute accredited?

Doyen Institute of Intelligence and Investigations is registered, recognized, and regulated as a professional training institute by the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice through the Registrar General’s Department and the Ministry of Education through the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) now TVET.

Can I pay tuition fees in installments?

Yes, but students must at least pay the minimum required fees before they will be allowed to undertake the Academic and Residential registration. 

What kind of diploma will I receive?

We issue Professional Diplomas and special certifications depending on the course taken.

Who can apply?

  1. Leaders of Security Organizations
  2. Senior Government Officials
  3. Security Professionals/personnel, both in the public and private sectors.
  4. The staff of corporate organizations
  5. Private individuals (civilians)

Entry requirement

  1. Applicant must be 20 years old and above with a minimum of a senior high school certificate.  or

  2. Applicants with at least 12 months of security industry experience but without a senior high school certificate may also be eligible.

  3. Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

What are the graduation requirements?

Students will be assessed throughout the duration of the program. To be conferred with the Diploma, students must achieve a pass for their in-class assessments and module papers, and at least 75% of class attendance.

The diploma is offered on both a full-time and part-time basis with 3 core and 15 elective modules. Each module is merited with its credit points, and a total of 100 points is required for the diploma to be conferred.

What does the course fee include?

The course fee includes tuition fees, lecture notes, ID card, and course materials.

What is the mode of assessment?

Assessments are done through an online examination, presentation, group work, and research depending on the course.

What are the mode of payment?

Tuition fee payment can be done through Bank transfer, Visa card, MasterCard, Mobile Money, or MoneyGram.

I am not in Ghana, how do i recieve my certificate?

Certificates and other items are sent through DHL courier services. The shipping fee is to be paid by the student.
